new year's resolutions

'tis (almost) the time! which means it is the time to start thinking of self-improvement for the upcoming 365 days that make up the 2011 calendar year.

and with that being said, i present to you my new year's resolutions thus far:

- incorporate fruits & veggies into my daily diet (and be mindful of all that i put into my body, overall)
- always remain active. less slug, more burn!
- live for myself! ... and those who have a problem with that can fuck off
- better money management (tracking and spending)
- save! save! save! (see above)
- keep myself feeling (and looking) good! doctor's appointments, haircuts, manicures... personal maintenance at the appropriate times

i'm excited for these resolutions and wish you well in adhering to your own!

here i am, at work. post-blizzard 2o1o. and what an interesting couple of days it has been! i've been down (to AC) and out (in the blizzard); i've been feeling really good (pleasant company) and then feeling really bad (reassurance, anybody?). but mostly i've been sleeping (!!!) and reflecting on the past year and aptly title 2010 "the year of no progress."

what have i done with myself? what am i doing? where am i going? who am i going with?

i welcome 2011 with open arms and great expectations. let it not disappoint...
