upgrade me?
papa kauf got an iphone, which means he says he'll give me his crackberry. but do i want it? it would be nice to have blogging access 24/7, and fb searching will certainly be easier. i could yelp from anywhere! and become an active member of the foursquare community! not just a stalker ;)

weekend recap
well, my weekend is over (considering i'm working on president's day) so it's time for a recap.
friday was swell: lovely weather, a great run. did some necessary errands, bought some unnecessary junk food, drove around for some time and hosted some very pleasant company.
saturday, another run and some domestic housechores. baked :) played hostess to my best friends and went out people watching the entire night. 'twas a blast!!!
sunday brunch + unlimited mimosas + room maintenance + couch addition + playtime = :)
monday, work. meh!

beautiful day in NYC! wish i wasn't inside. upside: IT'S FRIDAYYYY!!! ... and i get use of my parents' car tonight to go to home depot :) OMG, i can't believe that just got me really excited. i'm such an adult! but i also plan on going to target and bb&b too. mama needs a new dust buster! enough about that... excited for sunday :)

well friends. the time has come. 1,007 posts later, today officially marks the one year anniversary of me and my blog. how exciting! i never thought i'd get here! well, actually... that's a lie. i kind of knew i'd get here but i never knew exactly how i would. i appreciate all of your support and suggestions and hope that the next year (or seventeen...) yield even better results than this past year. i don't write this to be judged or to be critiqued or even because i think you will thoroughly enjoy what you read (although i really hope you do!). i write because it's fun for me; theraputic, if you will. and i feel like i have a lot to say. if you fancy to hear it, then hooray! and if not, that's ok too. we can still be friends. so thank you, THANK YOU again from the bottom of my heart- ya'll rock and i couldn't live my life without you :)

well, happy valentine's day. you haven't reached out to me and i should obviously give up. so either i'm stupid or hopeful for writing this; maybe a little of both? who am i kidding... i overreacted. you sent me mixed messages. i wanted more. you made me feel foolish for wanting you. you can't have your cake and eat it too, i'm just not that kind of girl. i was hoping to be the one you wanted but instead i felt like one of many- no girl wants to feel like that, at least no girl who is sleeping with someone who she likes and respects. but as i said, i overreacted and that probably got the best of you. either that or you're just not that into me... cliche. you could have talked to me; i guess you would have if you wanted to. but the fact of the matter is that all i wanted was for you to tell me that you want me. i didn't need a title or fancy date nights, i just wanted words to reconfirm actions (oh yea, and for you to take off your "single" status on facebook...). too much to ask for? apparently so... but if you want me, let me know. where do you want to go?
