new year's resolutions

'tis (almost) the time! which means it is the time to start thinking of self-improvement for the upcoming 365 days that make up the 2011 calendar year.

and with that being said, i present to you my new year's resolutions thus far:

- incorporate fruits & veggies into my daily diet (and be mindful of all that i put into my body, overall)
- always remain active. less slug, more burn!
- live for myself! ... and those who have a problem with that can fuck off
- better money management (tracking and spending)
- save! save! save! (see above)
- keep myself feeling (and looking) good! doctor's appointments, haircuts, manicures... personal maintenance at the appropriate times

i'm excited for these resolutions and wish you well in adhering to your own!

that which is my life...

here i am, at work. post-blizzard 2o1o. and what an interesting couple of days it has been! i've been down (to AC) and out (in the blizzard); i've been feeling really good (pleasant company) and then feeling really bad (reassurance, anybody?). but mostly i've been sleeping (!!!) and reflecting on the past year and aptly title 2010 "the year of no progress."

what have i done with myself? what am i doing? where am i going? who am i going with?

i welcome 2011 with open arms and great expectations. let it not disappoint...

ok ya'll- the holiday season has been kicking my ass and i've been neglecting some of the things that mean most to me, including this page. yea, i know... it's nothing special. but it's mine! all mine! and you gotta take pride in what you put out there for the world to see, right?

anyhoo, i'm ALIVE AND WELL (as the title of this post will tell you). work is busy and i must say it is absolutely better to be busy than bored. things on the homefront are swell and i am anxiously awaiting our family secret santa hanukkah party. lurve prezzies :) friends are fabulous, as they always are. what would i do without you? and i've been making out, and i like it... i like it a lot.

i pinky promise to get back into the swing of my normal routine as soon as possible. your continued support of my ridiculousness means the world to me... and i look forward to entertaining you in the near future :)
