so.. i wasn't impressed! i wish i could say i was, but i guess i expected more? i know i know, it's only the first episode of the new season. but based on the episode AND the previews for future episodes, i can't imagine myself getting all too excited about the second-to-last season of one of my favorite shows. HOWEVER, peter gallagher (!!!!!!!!!!) is guest starring in a multi-episode arc so that is reason in itself to watch.

so my question is... would you want to live if all you have are memories?

i'm watching "the road" (sidenote: better book than movie) and i can't help but wonder what i would think this situation, how i would react. would i really want to live if i had nothing to look forward to? i mean, there is NO CIVILIZATION! and the world is gray with not an indication of color in sight. i can't be the only one thinking that these characters have no reason to keep on truckin', right?

hopefully i'll never have to find out what it means to be truly lonely, and i kind of feel weird even THINKING that if SOMETHING happened in this world that i might not want to see it all the way though.

i did it! i went to my first festival! since there is so much to say about it (and really, who has the time or desire to recap and entire weekend of... stuff?!) i figured i would put it in list form. 'tis the best form, i think...

likes: great music. great company. sunshine. barbeque. cute boys! not having to think. recreational activities. meeting new people.

dislike: cold. rain. sleeping in a tent on the ground. semi-broken cell phone. not knowing what to do with myself. having to go home.
